A project that aims at reviving the traditional crafts, as well as, utilizing and developing local resources in order to increase local production and energize the local market to compete with international ones. Rubia’s mission is developing the craft of handmade Kilim, through designs that live up to modern market taste, in addition to, utilizing the same techniques used in our everyday products. Rubia’s core vision is providing machines and workshops, in order to teach handcrafts to low-income families and insure stable income generating craft, which has market demand and potential for growth.
